ellie + nathan

Ellie and Nathan chose to celebrate their marriage surrounded by their nearest and dearest at our favourite Royal National Park location Wattle Forest. The day was full of joy and sentimental details and sweet family tradition. They chose to include close friends and family in all the details which made the celebration all the more significant. We feel so privileged to have be able to celebrate Ellie and Nathan, two of our dear friends and having witnessed one of the most moving ceremonies as wedding photographers.

When it comes to celebration and tradition the Beresford and Giles family leave no details behind! It was a lovely surprise when Ellies family preformed a song to the tune of ‘Summer Loving’, all about how Ellie and Nathan came together, a traditional that Ellies grandparents preformed for their children on their wedding night.

There are so many moments from the day that we loved, from the hand cut confetti Ellies school class made to the hand made arbour and neon sign made by Nathan!— One of the most enjoyable moments has to be the stand out dance floor that never ceased —especially loving that no matter how old or tired your feet are, no-one can deny the Nutbush!

An extra special detail was Ellies bespoke gown designed by our talented friend Amy New. After meeting Amy, Ellie and the family realised they have a long standing connection through their parents. Amy created the gown of Ellies dreams as well as the bridesmaids silk gowns and mother of the brides red lacey number.

There are so many dream team vendors that pulled together the day so beautifully - how amazing is our local talent?!
