Charlotte and James are the kind of couple you cannot help but fall head over heels for. Since meeting with them, quickly they became wonderful friends rather than clients, which made being part of their celebration all the more special. I loved getting to be a part of the fun and feel so honoured to have been able to witness the two of them tie the knot. Their day was all things colour, joy and laughter, they put thought and sentimental value into every detail big or small — my favourite being that Charlotte invited her florist who was also a family friend to Melross Estate the day before the wedding and together with her bridal party they made their own bouquets, all similar but different making it all the more memorable. Charlotte also wore the most beautiful ring with a blue stone passed down from generations, completing her outfit with the most perfect ‘something old, something borrowed and something new’.

I was lucky enough to get to know Charlotte and James closely when we spent the afternoon together capturing their engagement photos at Gary Beach in the Royal National Park which made their wedding day all the more anticipated, fun and effortless. Can you believe that they thought they would be awkward in front of the camera!

Congratulations Charlotte and James, I could not be more excited, joyful and thankful for the two of you!
