Amazing is truly an understatement when it comes to these two. No detail was left undone and nothing was too much effort for Cat and Minh. Everything about their wedding day was perfectly sentimental, classic and tasteful, above everything these two don’t do anything in halves.

Cat and Minh invited us to capture their wedding day in the beautiful Thai island of Koh Samui where they celebrated over looking the stunning coast line of Chewang Bay from their private villa Koh Koon. Their bridal parties and family joined them in preparing on the property (please just look at the photos of Cats dress hanging with that backdrop) and the bride and groom did things their own way braking tradition, taking part in an intimate first look before the ceremony where they read personal and heartfelt letters to one another before sharing their vows for their friends and family during the ceremony. This was the perfect moment and also allowed for us to sneak away and capture some photos on the beautiful grounds before guests began to arrive.

Their ceremony took place over looking the beautiful tropical view, where they celebrated their formalities amongst 90 of their closest friends and families. I loved every minute of there ceremony and caught myself welling up as Cat walked down the aisle and when they shared their vows.
Their day was filled with smiles and entertainment — even their friends got involved in the extravagant details, surprising the couple with and custom made news paper tabloid celebrating the wedding day which they shared after we returned from taking photos.

The most entertaining part of the night had to be when Cat and Minh surprised their guest with traditional Thai fire dancing, which was mesmerising as well as amazing when they included guests in their show. Followed by everyone lighting sparklers as Cat and Minh shared in their first dance - the entire party singing along to Lighthouse families ‘high’ will forever be remembered as one of the most heart warming first dance moments I have experienced.

We finished the night under exploding fireworks of every colour and dancing under the stars. Fireworks have this amazing ability to grow more spectacular and demand your attention and awe every time. It was the perfect way to end the celebration and really made the night feel incredibly significant and memorable.

We are truly blown and way and completely thankful to be lucky enough to witness amazing couples like Cat and Minh celebrate their relationship and just loved every second of this occasion. We wish these two the best and cannot wait to see where the next part of this 17 year adventure takes them.
